With over 100 years of tournament play under its belt, the Carnegie Challenge Cup is a very serious rugby tournament. The final is occurring today and should prove to be an excellent match. Whether you have tickets to the sold out event, are watching at a local pub or from the comfort of your own home, this year’s tournament has proven to be one of the best in recent years. At 2:30, the Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves square off at Wembly with the Warrington Wolves reaching the final for the second year in a row. Whether you are hoping the Wolves win again or are a Leeds fan, sky lanterns can be a great way to show your support for either team.

With the sellout crowd, there will be nearly ninety thousand people in attendance watching this rugby match in person as well as millions tuning in through the BBC feed of the game. With all of these people watching, letting others know which team you are supporting in the match is easily done with a daytime launch of sky lanterns. Pick yellow and blue traditional lanterns for Leeds or green and red for Warrington so as to not confuse anyone. Leeds is always in yellow and blue, while Warrington’s colours change depending on whether they are at home or away so choose red and green so everyone knows you support Warrington if that is your choice.

For those simply wanting to watch an excellent rugby match without any passion for the teams involved, the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final is sure to be an excellent matchup. The bookmakers are at odds with one another on who is going to win and the best odds available for either team to win run around two to one. With such close odds for either team, it should prove to be an amazing match, either way. Before the game and during half time, a launch of floating lanterns from NightSkyLanterns.co.uk can take the edge off and keep everyone calm and lower the blood pressure of even the most uptight rugby fan.

During half time, a launch of our novelty smiley face lanterns may be just what is needed to calm down the nerves of the agitated rugby fan as well as a way to taunt the fans of the other team. Launching floating lanterns is easy and a fun distraction that will keep a group entertained just long enough for the match to resume. With the Carnegie Challenge Cup, the action is going to be non-stop for the entire time the teams are on the field so sneak the floating lanterns in well before the game and have them ready to go for half time ahead of time.

Enjoy the match today. Remember, it starts at 2:30 this afternoon. If you don’t have sky lanterns for this rugby match, be sure to order some to keep on hand to celebrate all the sporting events the UK has to offer.
