Today is Monday and everyone knows what that means – long days back to work, recovering from the weekend and everything that can go wrong on a Monday. Mondays are not the best day of the week for anyone. But why not start the week off right and instead of getting mired down in the Monday blues have a little fun and set the mood for the rest of the week? Flying lanterns are a great way to do that. You and your family or friends can have a casual get together with some food and drinks then set off a few flying lanterns to watch your troubles float away. A Monday evening is the perfect time to let flying lanterns put you in a better mood.

Have you had a rough day today? Has everything gone wrong? Is it a typical Monday? If so, spend the evening relaxing with friends and family. Have some food, drink a pint and set off some flying lanterns. One of the original uses for flying lanterns was for warfare. As bad as this Monday may be, that’s not the ideal use for them. But after warfare another traditional use if flying lanterns was to send prayers to the heavens. In ancient times it was believed the flying lanterns would drift up into the sky and thus be closer to the gods’ ears. You can take a cue from that use and adapt it to you.

You can make a wish for a better day or a prosperous week and then light the flying lantern and let it drift into the night sky. Or, you can send up a specific prayer. You can customise the sky lanterns by using a sharpie marker. Simply write your prayer or wish on the flying lantern then send it to the sky. Another good idea is to simply let your problems float away. Did something happen today that put you in a bad mood? Was someone rude? Write the worst part of your day on the flying lantern then watch as it drifts away. You will be surprised how much better you will feel jus y watching the flying lantern – and your troubles – float away.

All flying lanterns at NightSkyLanterns are biodegradable and wire free so you can rest assured that not only will you have a great time but you will also be environmentally responsible by using flying lanterns from the best supplier. Do not settle for imitations, we are the original and best to offer quality flying lanterns that are completely wire free. When the fuel cell on the flying lanterns extinguishes you will be certain that within a very short time there will be no trace of the flying lantern, reducing your footprint on the earth.

It is a Monday but that does not mean you have to have a bad day all day. Instead, finish your Monday with some fun. Release your troubles into the night sky and hope for a better week. Have some fun with flying lanterns and your week will already see an improvement.
