We have worked very closely with our manufacturer over the past 18 months and believe that we have developed the best Eco Friendly Sky Lanterns available on the market today. Every Lantern on our website (unless otherwise stated) is entirely wire free, fully biodegradable and has an easy to light non drip fuel cell. The open end of the Sky Lanterns are manufactured from a thin ring of Bamboo, and this is where the flame retardant 100% biodegradable string is attached that supports the fuel cell. The fuel cell itself is manufactured from paper and impregnated with parafin wax. This ensures the fuel is easy to light and produces adequate heat to enable the Lantern to fly. It also reduces possibilities of any potential safety issue.
