See In Action

Loy Krathong festival in San Sai, Chiang Mai, Thailand. 24 November 2007. Chinese Sky Lanterns being launched.

Sky Lanterns date back hundreds of years to a time when Chinese armies employed them as signalling devices. Much later they were adopted by common folk who used them to convey their wishes to heaven.

The floating candles (Sky Lanterns) offer poignancy and tranquility and were launched in the belief that they would bring back all your ancestral spirits.

Many people celebrate the annual Yipeng Lantern Festival. Yipeng means the full moon of the twelfth lunar month in the Buddhist Calendar or the second lunar in Asia.

Our Gallery

We actively encourage and regularly receive images from our customers of their lantern event/experience.

We have put these images together to create this gallery which we hope conveys the fun and excitement that can be created when you add some Night Sky Lanterns to your event.

Please feel free to also submit images to us and we will be happy to add them to the gallery so that anyone visiting our site will be able to view them.
