As the moon cycles every day there is a particular phase of the moon. Today happens to be the day where the moon is full. Ancient people believed the full moon possessed certain properties and it was a magical time during it. Today, there is an even greater spectacle that will occur in the sky with the addition of a partial eclipse. If you are able to see this grand event, you may also want to add to the amazing visions in the sky by using sky lanterns. What better way to accent the wondrous activity in the sky then by adding to its amazement? It will be even better if you can capture the beauty of dozens of sky lanterns with a full moon and partial eclipse.

How to use sky lanterns

Everyone should have some sky lanterns on hand for just such a special occasion. The coloured sky lanterns are a perfect choice to keep on hand and can be purchased at http://www.nightskylanterns.co.uk/sky-lanterns/coloured-traditional-sky-lanterns/prod_9.html. Each comes individually wrapped so they store easily. They are also compact so will not take up a lot of room nor will they get damaged. So, make sure you have a few on hand for any impromptu occasion. When you launch them you will first need to unwrap them from their packaging and attach the fuel cell. Instructions are included in each and are easy to use. Then all you need to do is light the fuel cell and release the sky lanterns, watching them float into the night sky.

A full moon is the perfect time for pictures

We feature several pictures of sky lanterns in our gallery at http://www.nightskylanterns.co.uk/see-in-action/info_5.html. Many of our customers send in pictures on how they use sky lanterns in order to give others ideas on how they too can use tem. A full moon as a backdrop to the stunning display of the sky lanterns adrift in the sky is a perfect photo opportunity. First, release all the sky lanterns then take some pictures of them as they drift into the night sky. If you can capture the full moon in the pictures you may have an even more beautiful image. Having the pictures will not only provide you a lovely piece of art but some great memories also.  Make sure to send some in to use too so we can feature them on our site.

Sky lanterns are the perfect addition to any occasion

Sky lanterns are often used for special occasions such as parties and weddings. However, sky lanterns don’t have to be used for formal events only. You can launch sky lanterns at any time just to have a pretty display in the night sky. If you have some on hand, whenever the mood strikes you, you can take out a few sky lanterns and release them into the night sky. You never know when you will have a great opportunity to have a photo with a full moon or partial eclipse as a setting.
